Computer Tower Sitting On Carpet

I have a situation where the only place for my tower was on the floor next to my desk.

Avoid placing your tower pc on thick carpet. This is coming from someone who lives with a family that has 3 dogs and 2 cats so i have quite a problem with dust accumulation. If the carpet is a problem consider putting it on a platform or stand on the carpet. And if you don t have any carpet at all this isn t a concern.

Some towers do have an an intake on the floor panel which would be an issue if sitting on carpet. Planning on building a computer but need some advice. Question heatsink sitting on an angle.
